Who are we?

Insolvency Claims is an insolvency consultancy led by a Forensic Accountant. Our specialism is mitigating the effect of a company's insolvency on the individuals 'caught up' in the company's affairs. We are often called upon to defend Liquidator's claims, Insolvency Service claims or creditors claims against the Directors of the failed company.

With the liquidator, this can be defending a 'surprise' liability to an overdrawn director's loan account, claims of misfeasance, preference or breach of duty or the overreach of the Liquidator in demanding actions by the Director which are excessive.

What do we do?

Led by a Forensic Accountant, our expertise lies in forensically analysing all of the documentation and using our specialist knowledge to provide a second opinion.

We then use all of the evidence we assemble to defend your position. We aim to remove the liability in full but where this is not possible we will act to reduce the effect and costs to the minimum possible.
